Dear Rachelle,

Your workshop, "Speak to Me Like You Love Me", was exactly what our family needed.  My partner and I spent the evening after the last day of the workshop talking about our old patterns, most common triggers, and debriefing the two days we spent with you.  We got some wine and sat on the floor in front of the fireplace planned our own "NVC Relationship Rescue for Real Emergencies", knowing that even though we couldn't avoid future conflict we could at least have a "protocol" to help us find our way back to each other more quickly and gracefully. 

And even though just the two of us attended, our eight-year-old has started grabbing the yellow "Feelings and Needs" card that we stuck to the fridge door when she is having trouble getting a message through to us.  It works and it feels amazing to observe how the tools empower her even at her young age! 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your workshop to anyone - in a relationship or not, in conflict or not, with kids or not.  You were so wonderful at customizing the content to the group and offering relevant, realistic examples of how we can try to "be" NVC even if we don't exactly hit the mark with the structure of the process every time.  It was wonderfully transformative.
